With over 15 years experience in product design and development, we know that it’s the consideration of many things that will determine a truly great product.  Key considerations are the user requirements, function and form, creativity and innovation, the ability to be manufactured and the profitability of the final product.  It is the sensitivity to these disciplines that will determine the product’s success.

Services offered within this process:

Concept Generation

Using a variety of creative techniques we will generate a range of ideas.  These ideas will  support decision making for the development stage.  We will provide you with 2D photo realistic images, and 3D CAD models of designs.  We can do this at physical meetings or virtually.

Concept Development

Preferred ideas are developed in detail using CAD software to ensure that the design principles are robust.  Using our in-house workshop and modelling facilities we can start to work on early stage prototypes,  to investigate and evaluate the product’s form and functions.

Design Development

At this stage we refine the product.  You may wish to make use of ergonomic studies and user trials to assess the product form and usability.  We ensure that the users experience and the results from testing the product are fed into the design process to provide successful product outcomes.

New Product Models

3D models are invaluable for communicating your new product.  They will be essential for use in focus groups and user group trials, investment meetings and as sales development tools.  See our prototyping section for more details.
